Girls Grove

Girls Grove is a fun, sacred space for girls 8-16 years old.

This is a place to create, talk, learn, share, play, participate in events, projects, and be part of a Girls' Grove Performance.  There will be a Girls' Grove schedule of events every day including scheduled free time.

There will be books, makeup, hair stuff, art stuff, menstrual gear, herbal potions, tea, blankets, pillows, and music.

Kayla Becker will be supervising and available throughout the day and evening to watch over the schedule, share, answer questions, read stories, and dance to good tunes.

During the gathering, you are welcome to attend any of the wonderful classes at the Fairy Garden Youth Village.  And also you are welcome to attend any adult class that says its for all ages. There are so many great classes this year.  One class only for Girls' Grove, is about learning how to find, honor, and care for your uterus with herbs and massage. The class is called, “ Where is my Uterus?”  It’s a fun and really interesting subject based on Rosita Arvigo’s teachings.  Kayla Becker is teaching this class and hopes you will join her.

At registration, your adult will give permission for you to be part of Girls Grove. Kayla Becker will be the contact person for support and connection.

I live on 18 beautiful acres of Vermont wilderness in a home my husband Ray and I built. We have two wonderful adult children who both live in California. I am a reproductive health educator and am currently teaching a class at our local high school in Reproductive Justice. Teaching girls about their reproductive bodies and lives is a major focus of my work. I am also a psychospiritual bodyworker focusing on abdominal therapy and women's health. I earned my master's degree in 2022 and now working slowly on a PhD in Somatic Psychology always with a focus on girls' and women's health. It is a great honor for me to be the co-director of Girls Grove with Hazel Grove.
