Auntie Susan
Auntie Susan works with children full time (since 2007), focusing on nature, music, seasons, natural materials, creativity, healthy whole food, story and movement. She works softly, with subtle energy. She surrounds children with real meaningful work, creating a haven where capacities awaken.
Auntie Susan says, “Within a healthy daily rhythm, children need free play and open-ended creativity. I have a vast array of songs, stories, games and comfort to offer, if needed.
I'm there to hold a safe space for them, guide and make room. I'm not there to stifle, the children are the center.
I am inviting children to engage in the way that is most comfortable for their individual needs. On the surface, it might look like I am doing very little. Slowing down and observing takes intention and energy.”
