In this workshop we will honour the deer, the trees, the water and sun; that are the predominant elements that come together to create a frame drum. To decorate the lacing on your drum bring feathers and prayers and whatever else you might like to tie on. Brief talk on knife safety. Bring a small knife (non folding blades are better and safer), knife sharpener and scissors, strong thread/string/thin rope, lint or batting and a favourite piece of fabric or leather to create and carve your own drum stick.
